Touton Group sells palm oil plantations in Ivory Coast to PALMCI

Touton Group has sold its palm oil plantations in Coté d’Ivoire to the country’s number one palm oil producer PALMCI. The decision is part of the international trading and processing group’s plan to refocus on its core business and strengthen its position in the cocoa industry.

For the Ivorian palm-oil producer, which is also a subsidiary of SIFCA and one of the country’s major agribusiness groups, the deal aligns with its development strategy in the oilseed industry and increases its crude palm oil production capacity to support food security in the country.
