Goodwell Investments’ impact VC fund, uMunthu II has received funding from both its founding investor and Invest International, which has committed EUR 10mn towards the fund’s EUR 57mn first close.
The fund will support young, fast-growing companies to expand internationally and will focus on several sectors such as food, energy, transport, education, mobile payments and savings products.
The impact fund aims to raise a total of EUR 150mn.
