Harlem Capital leads $3.7mn seed extension round for Lami

Harlem Capital has led a USD 3.7mn seed-extension round for Kenyan insurtech Lami for it to hire more members of staff, continue with its expansion plans—it has recently entered the Nigerian and Egyptian markets—and drive partnerships with underwriters.

Other investors who participated in the round are Newton Partners and angel investors from Exotix Advisory, Social Impact Capital (Peter Bruce-Clark) and InsureTech Connect.
