Brotinni set for expansion with $660k investment

Brotinni, an Egyptian foodtech startup that focuses purely on the meat industry, has raised USD 660,000 for its seed round led by Innlife Investments.

Local food and grocery delivery sector has seen tremendous growth over the past few years; however, the raw meat delivery segment has not really gained adequate attention –

The startup plans to use the funds to scale its operations, invest in marketing and increase the size of its fleet. As well as a platform for customers to buy fresh meat and poultry, it also manages its own delivery fleet.

The company was established in 2020 by Dalia Abou Omar to provide customers with hand-cut, farm-sourced and vacuum-sealed fresh meat and poultry; as well as flash-frozen and ready-to-cook food items.
